Maybe it's more than it cracked up to be.

Hey!

Maybelline is one of my favourite drugstore beauty brands simply because of how good the products are, plain and simple! I find it affordable and the majority of my everyday makeup routine is Maybelline so there's that and the Falsies can do no wrong in my books!

Anyhow, back to the point! If any of you beauty lovers out there follow maybelline on Instagram @maybelline or their blog +Maybelline NY Mx you may have seen a product that they call the "Face Studio Hi-Lighting Blushes and Bronzers". It isn't on shelves yet and is set to be released in January, i'm not sure if that it's in the UK or not yet but either way this product looks so appealing to me! As a fan of highlighted blushers, not so much bronzers, this product just seems like it would be a wonder to add into my make-up collection! I will be purchasing this on the website come January, could i get away with calling it a late christmas present ?

Just look how pretty they are !

Girl Meets Pearl

Hello world.

Benefit makeup is my all time favourite brand (or at least one of) I love the quality of their products and as i live in a city which contains no MAC or NARS counters, this is the make-up brand i browse almost daily in my local Boots store. One of my all time favourite products by Benefit is the "High Beam" and it's essentially a liquid highlighter. All i do is pop it the top of my cheekbones to enhance them and down the middle of my nose and it makes my skin look so luminous and as close to perfect as it'll be!

To my dismay i ran out mid-week last week so i nipped to the counter and the lady recommended i try "Girl meets Pearl" so i took her advice and gave it a shot! I'm not going to lie and say this product is a world away from the High Beam, in fact, it so similar that someone who didn't know make-up could just mistake it for the exact same thing. However in my opinion is just slightly tips the High Beam and the packaging is simply out of the world...not only beautiful but pretty user friendly too! I would say the main difference between the two products is the shimmer in the "girl meets pearl" is slightly less obvious which i do prefer myself! Would i buy this product again? 100%

Girl Meets Pearl £24.50

High Beam (sorry about the teeny bottle, this one is from a set)
For a full size bottle £19.50

Which Benefit products are your favourite?

OOPS.

HOLA!

I went shopping today, 3 days before payday so you can imagine what my bank balance/ overdraft is currently looking like! I went to pick up some eyelashes cause i'm going out tonight and ironically i picked up a lot of stuff none of which were eyelashes! I went to superdrug, tactically avoided boots, then onto topshop, primark, and H&M.

Superdrug

Maybelline Falsies Mascara £7.99
this is a re-re-purchase and my favourite mascara

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm in 700, not an illusion and 220, Rumour has it £5.99 each
I'm a sucker for a lip crayon in the day and i've heard good things about this one so i thought i would invest and these 2 colours just stood out for me.

Large Cotton Wool Pads £1.69
Perfect for removing make-up/cleansing etc.

Blow Pro Conditioner £4.90
Never tried, let alone heard of this brand so i thought i'd give it a try and see what i made of it as they didn't have my usual favourites in store.

Topshop

Jeans £38.
Topshop jeans are my all time favourite jeans, they never sag at the knees which i love and although you can't really tell on this picture the colour of these are such a nice shade of blue.

H&M

Grey Jersey £7.99
I love these tops for just lounging around the house and the long sleeves make it ideal for winter

Tshirt £9.99
Again, i think this is really cute for lounging around and just slobbing out

Woven Dress £14.99
This is a very nice fitting dress for an hourglass figure and it could be worn casually with tights and boots or on a night out with a pair of heels

Finally...Primark

3 sets of knickers, polka dot, blue and red all with lace £2.00 each

2 Bra sets one blue with pink ribbon and one with comic strip on them both £5

Spongebob socks £1

Red Candle £2.50

and that's everything from my 2 hour spree today

Sleek Blushes

Hello Monkeypups

Superdrug in the UK in a drugstore and one of the brands they sell are called "Sleek"! Sleek is one of my favourite brands because of it's quality and price ratio, obviously it's not up there with MAC and NARS however for a student who earns barely enough to survive, this is perfection. They do eyeshadow pallets, which i may or may not do a separate post on in the future, and a number of other things from contour kits to powders. Sleek are mainly famous for their blushers and pallets so i decided i would dedicate this blog to the blushers. I also love the packaging, from the outside they look very "sleek" (hilarious!) and the inside they come with a handy mirror and are great for makeup bags.

1. Life's a Peach

This basically says it all in the title, it is meant to be a peach colour however i think it ranges more towards the orange on the scale of things but still this was a staple piece for my summer makeup bag because of how pretty and fresh it looks (especially with a tan) but now this it's heading towards winter i feel like this colour is a bit too fresh so i have kind of shoved it to the back of the drawer for next year, i won't be forgetting it though! It goes on really nicely and it's very pigmented so much so that i used it almost every other day in summer and i'm yet to hit pan.

2. Flushed

I bought this specifically for autumn/winter time because i thought it was a beautiful colour and i was right! I find that this is so pigmented that you only need the tiniest amount and also it doesn't blend to well over the face so you may need to go over this with a foundation brush once you've done but once it on it looks beautiful. Again, with this one, it sort of does what it says in the name, it gives me the cold, flushed winter look and this has been my main blusher for autumn.

3. Pixie Pink

Again, this was a summer purchase and although it worked well in summer, i also still use it now so it's a good all round colour. I actually only realised this when doing this blog but the names are pretty accurate to the colour of the blush, i would describe this as a perfect pink colour. I tend not to use it too much in the daytime anymore, however for nights out it gives me a good amount of radiance and flush for the face. This is probably my most used Sleek blush because of how versatile it is.

4. Pomegranate

After raving about the previous 3, i thought i'd save the come down for last. This was the newest addition to my blusher set and it is very very similar to "flushed" and because i was loving that so much i bought this one. The main difference is that this one has a shimmer effect opposed to the matte effect that "flushed" brings. When i got it home i tried it and it was a huge disappointment! It goes on the skin horribly and i find it difficult to blend even after my foundation brush has had a go over it. It just doesn't do a very good job at all and the shimmer is also quite transparent once it's on the skin so it doesn't make a difference in that sense. I have tried different ways of using this blusher, different brushes, techniques, skin preparation and nothing, because it's so highly pigmented and gives little slip it's just a mess on my face. Not what i need when i'm trying to impress people on my uni course anyway.

Thanks for reading guys...have you tried any other Sleek products?

Its My Birthday

Hello blogger sphere!

I haven't been the most attentive this week what so ever and i have a valuable reason...I TURNED 21! 17th November 1992, momentous occasion and because of this fantabulous occasion i am dedicating an entire blog post to my birthday weekend! I'm desperately trying to hold on to any inch of my birthday which is left so hopefully writing this will actually make me feel like it's still my birthday...please?

So On Friday the 15th I went for beautiful meal with the family at a restaurant in the city where i live, we then went out...yes, me, my mother, father and brother, went out around town! (not the only one who is trying to cling to my youth clearly). We had plenty of drink, jager bombs and shots and by 2am we were staggering around the streets singing Oasis Wonderwall, that's what i call a successful family night out.

Saturday I did basically nothing all day apart from prepare myself for the mess which was in sight. Me and my 11 best friends gathered for presents, a Casio watch and heels, and pictures of us all looking glam. Then we hopped on a train to blackpool, vodka and wine in hand! Next stop...FUNNY GIRLS...a famously funny drag show. Multiple vodkas and laughs later we got a taxi home! This was possibly the greatest night of my life, if anyone ever thinks of going funny girls, don't think just go!

Finally, my actual birthday I woke up and received all my presents..too many to mention but my favourite was a 21 charm for my ever famous charm bracelet. Then my dad made his tacos, my favourite tea ever! and i just spent a perfect day with my amazing family chilling out and blowing out candles. Finally i spend the night having a relaxing bath in preparation for tomorrow/today where i'm having a night out with my housemate (whose birthday was on the 16th) and all our friends dressed as Harry Potter characters. PERFECT BIRTHDAY

October Favourites

Yes, yes it is that time again. The Favourites! I am highly determined to stay as up to date with these blogs as possible because i'm not very organised and if i fall even 2 weeks behind then it becomes a joint month favourites blog and i'm being honest when i say it's just not the same. While I'm being honest i have been rather busy this month so cosmetic shopping hasn't been in my top priorities, what with halloween and endless birthdays i just couldn't muster up enough hours in the day! So, greatest apologies that the amount of favourites in this blog are a bit lackluster!

First up i have a GOSH eyeliner in the shade 021 Renaissance Gold! This is a beautifully pigmented gold coloured eyeliner. It slides on very well and i find it has a very good lasting power on my lid and on my waterline. I use this colour when i've gone for a brown smokey eye opposed to a blackened one and it just makes the eye less harsh and much softer.

Next up is two products from the same brand and they are AVON Big Colour Eye Pencils in the shades Gold Rush and Cocoa Gleam! These are again, beautifully pigmented and extremely easy to wear. The reason they both made it into my favourites is because i wear these 2 colours together and the great thing about these is that they blend beautifully! They do have a glitter embedded in them so i don't tend to wear them in the daytime however for night out looks these are ideal! The staying power is incredible and they don't crease or smudge whatsoever in fact i've been known to sleep in these after a night out and waking up with them fully in tact! If that's not a product worth investing in, then what is ?

Finally...yes, finally! It the SchwarzKopf Got2b 2 Sexy Big Volume Push Up Volumizing Spray Mousse! (Say that 3 times fast). This is the first ever spray mousse that's been out on sale! I am in love with tons and tons and tons of the Got2b range and therefore wasn't the least bit surprised when i fell in love with this after just one use! As a girl who thinks the bigger the better (Obviously hair guys) this was an obvious choice for me and it does exactly what i expected...i sprayed it into the roots of my hair once i had curled it and it added volume to all the right places! Not only that but the packaging of this stuff is insanely good. This basically does what it says on the tin.

Ok guys that is all! This month i promise i'll buy like a zillion new products so at least i have a reasonable favourites blog! Pinky promise

Top 5 favourite Lipsticks

Waddup!

I feel like i've not done anything like this before and now that i'm at home bored watching re-run after re-run of Big Bang Theory i thought i may as well give it a bash! No harm no foul right? I think that's the right use of the phrase, maybe not...don't care! Before i start i will point out that with lipstick i feel like you should "go hard or go home" so if you're looking for the perfect nude colour, I'm afraid this isn't the blog for you. I'm always always partial to a bold lip and if i'm feeling like baring all then i reach for the lip balm/lip gloss over a nude lipstick every time.
So without further ado here are my top 5 lipsticks.

1) Rimmel Kate Moss In the shade 22

I feel like this is the perfect red colour, it's the show stopping sort of red you hear people go on about! I personally think Rimmel is the best drugstore beauty brand for lipstick just because of the range they have as well but the texture to these lipsticks are amazing and they are long lasting as well which is great! I use this most often for nights out because i feel like it adds a bit of "zing" to any make-up look.

2) Maybelline Colour Sensational in the shade 912 Electric Orange

Now i do love this range that maybelline brought out mainly for the colours they produce within it! They have some fab colours that are so completely out there that i couldn't help myself but this colour (and another one from this range) managed to make my top 5! They tend not to last too long on the lips however so i do find myself topping up quite a lot, especially if i wear them to the pub etc because i'm drinking and it just goes everywhere but this colour is a personal favourite of mine.

3) Avon in Matte Crimson

now i have a lorra lorra love for this entire product! This is the only lipstick in this range i have ever bought so i can't speak for the entire range but i can speak solely for this colour! If i had to recommend any of these products, just one, to any lipstick lover this would be that product! I can't do it justice in words but the consistency, the colour and the wear are all done to perfection! This lipstick is the one i'm finding the most use for this time of year because of it's autumnal berry like colour, the only thing i will say however is the name? I wouldn't put this colour anywhere near the crimson category and i would push it more towards the purple.

4) Maybelline Colour Sensational in the shade 910 Shocking Coral

Again, i said pretty much all i had to say about this brand above so if you don't remember just have re-read and then report back. This colour is pretty much the brightest pink i've ever come across in lipstick form so ordinarily i had to have it! I haven't been wearing this much recently because it has "summer colour" written all over it (not actually written on it) but in summer this was pretty much my staple piece for nights out and i also got compliments when i wore it in the day as well

5) Avon Ultra Colour Lip Crayon in carefree coral

This has actually been a very recent purchase and i know not exactly a lipstick blah blah blah but it's made the cut non the less! My favourite thing about this product is how easy it is to wear, i find myself reaching for this in the day time opposed to the night and i have worn this to uni for the past week. It slides on and it stays on for a while, i also find that it smudges very beautifully so what i tend to do is pop it on then blend it across my lips for a more subtle effect! LOVE.

There you have it my dears my top 5 favourite lipsticks for the time being! Thanks for reading

Is this real ?

Yesterday my world was shook!

I recieved a phonecall that I wish I never had to answer! My friend had died! I'm not going into detail about how or who or why because I don't think that is my right to tell anyone but I can tell you that the world is not as safe for me anymore, not as safe and certainly not as Bright!

I'm doing this blog post to tell people that what you do in your life matters! I realised that this persons death affected so many people, people I'm close to and people I've never even met and during this tragedy I couldn't help but feel slightly proud of her! I was proud that she has affected this many peoples life's in such positive way in such a short time!

People are using her Facebook wall for different reasons, to stay connected to her, a way to grieve or even just to forget about it all! Me ? I wrote on it. I wasn't sure I ever could but I was reading everyone's heartfelt and amazing messages To her and it comforted me, it made me feel less alone and if leaving one message to her, a short but beautiful message makes another person, even just one person feel less alone! Then it's worth it

If this has taught me anything, it taught me that everything you do! Everything you say and the way treat people, it all matters! Don't forget that.

Life Saver

Hi bloglings

So i have a major love hate relationship with nail varnish! Anyone that knows me knows i'm too impatient to wait for my nail varnish to dry fully so at least 3 of my nails are always smudged and i'm not sure what i do but i must dig in my sleep or something because it chips within the first 24 hours without fail!
It's not that i dislike doing my nails, in fact i love doing my nails but the waiting, ergh! so someone recommended seche vete (that's most likely not how you spell it) but for £8.99 i was wondering was it really worth it ? i voted against buying it because my bank balance just wouldn't accept that at the time. On payday i went back and as i was buying it, the woman in boots said "have you tried the Sally Hansen Insta Dri"!

These words have been a lifesaver!

This is the best thing i have bought! It does the exact same job and the seche vete but for £3 cheaper! All you have to do is apply 2 coats of your favourite nail varnish (it doesn't have to be your favourite, but you'll love it even more if it is) then apply a coat of the Insta Dri and like 30 seconds later your nails are dry to touch and won't chip! After 2 days i applied another coat to the unchipped nail varnish and a week later it is still in perfect condition!

So Thankyou Sally you have made doing my nails a whole lot more fun!

There you have it folks

Bunny Rabbit

Howdy team

so as some of you may be aware i work part-time in a pet shop! It's a pretty large chain of pet shops and i must say it does have some perks. However don't think i just sit and play with cuddly little animals all day no no no! you have to take into consideration the cleaning, constant bites and stupid things people say to me.

Customer : Is This hedgehog food
Me: Yes, yes it is
Customer: Made from real hedgehogs ?
Me: hahaa no, good one.
Customer: I don't want it then *walks out of the shop*

True story (insert picture of Barney)

so yes downsides aside it's pretty kick ass and recently i adopted a bunny rabbit!!!
She is called Betty and she is a down right standard babe! She is brown coloured and one ear up one ear down...stereotypical rabbit to say the least but she's my stereotypical ball of fur and i love her to bits so back off all you bunny haters.

I do have pictures of her but yet again i'm in the library so i havent got my phone lead and i should be doing work but no no instead i'm blogging my life stories. Best get back to it

Aug-September Favourites

Hola kiddies

guess what? I have finally sat down and flushed out all the excess bullshit in the library (yes the library, my WIFI is not connected so i'm doing this for you mucky lot) and....i have decided to do my favourites blog! I'm not sure when my last favourites was or why it takes me so long to do these so it's more of a favourites since my last favourites blog rather than a monthly favourites! Does that make sense? I don't know. Fuck it!

Ok...Where to start....

Make-up wise i've been using the same products quite a bit recently simply because i have spent all my money on room supplies and such fourth so i haven't really had a lot of spare cash to spend on products however i've had my eye on a few things so i'm guessing after payday ill put up a blog of what i bought and what i thought of the things i bought (poet, didn't know it) saying that i LOVE my new Bourjous Paris Delice de Soleil Bronzing Powder. I meantioned this is a previous blog "New Purchases" and can honestly say this was my favourite product i bought that day. I use this bronzer every day and every night out without fail, its perfect for contouring my cheek bones and it gives me a bit of a bronzed glow without it turning too orange or too powdery either. I have used it everyday since i got it and i haven't even touched the bottom yet so i would 100% reccomend this product to everyone and the mirror is just insanly useful for train journies and even in lectures. For £8.99 it's a complete bargain and just go out and buy it and see. It does come with a brush however i tend not to use the brush as i don't rave about the shape of it but it's a perfect bronzer in my opinion and the smell is just mm mm mm.

Another thing i love using at the moment is the Dior facial cleanser...now i understand that this product isn't in anyones price range and students are probably reading this going "hell no" or skipping this part as soon as they read the word Dior but it is an absolute god send! I got it on my travels, i actually hadn't starting traveling yet and picked it up at Paris Airport thinking it would be nice for on the plane and it has become a sort of holy grail skin care product if you will. The packaging is beautiful and the smell is divine too! I can't exactly remember the price of this and i bought in Euros to but it was rather expensive i will say that! It's a creamy texture and it does actually leave a lot of excess which is the only negative thing i have to mention. I use one pump every time and i then wipe the excess of with a cotton pad. I'm half way through the bottle and using it daily so for 4 months that's a pretty good going.

The body product i have been loving this month is the Garnier Body Tonic Firming Nourishing Milk (bit of a mouth full i'll admit)! Since my tan is fading and i'm doing everything possible in my power to prevent or slow this process down at least i have been moisturising the hell out of my skin and when my previous one ran out i picked this up. It has green tea extracts and caffeine blended into it in order to make your skin firmer and regain some elasticity...as i'm not 100 i'm not having issues with saggy skin but it did make my skin feel and look better after about a week of using this. The thing i really really like about this product is that is absorbs so fast and you don't have any of the wet slippery feeling you get afterwards with some other products, this basically just sinks into the skin straight away.

Finally a lip balm...of course! Burts Bees! I got these in America and they are divine. I tried pretty much all the lip balms from Burt's bees and they all do the same job in a terrific way and the other day i was walking around Holland and Barrats and found a whole section of Burt's Bees i didn't even know existed in the UK so i topped up and bought a few more there. They are nourishing and some have subtle colouring however they only really last on your lips for about 10-15 maximum before you feel like you need to top up but they do leave your lips feeling extra soft.

They are all my beauty/body favourite...not that many i know but give a kid a break i've been busy what with catching up with old friends to saying bye to those going to uni/going to uni myself.
I promise from now on i'll be firing blogs out like it's my fucking job

peace and love home birds

Uni Lifestyle

Hi home birds so recently i flew the coop hence the minimal effort and time i have recently put into my blog but i promise promise promise it will be back to normal soon and all those asking when i will do a favourite blog, trust me it's coming! But, all my stuff is currently either in boxes or scattered around my room at the moment.

I have officially started moving into my uni house! I'm 3rd year now and feel more grown up than ever before and my room is starting to feel more and more homely and i will put pictures up of the most part of it when it's set up and ready to go but at the moment it looks like someone held a hoe down or some shit in here so i'd rather not show you any "before and After" pics and just stick to after.

MISS YOU

20 facts about myself.

Hello blogger sphere today i shall be writing 50 facts about myself that you may or may not already know. This has been floating around on blogs and youtube channels for a while now and i was 'tagged' in it a while back and i finally got round to sitting down and being productive about this. Prior warning, i'm not doing the usual 50 facts, i'm sticking to a more realistic goal of 20.

  1. Winter is my favourite time of year, not just the cold/frosty morning type winter but i also really like rain too! I like being under and umbrella and having my hood up.
  2. I have dance from the age of 2. Ballet, Tap, Modern, Pointes and street however street dancing was not for me so after about a year i gave that up as a bad job. I was basically a ballerina in sweat pants and my teacher agreed.
  3. I can't keep plants alive! I over water, under water, too much light, not enough light, as hard as a try plant after plant, i kill them all.
  4. Green is my favourite colour.
  5. I'm not a vegetarian but i rarely eat meat simply because i prefer quorn
  6. I once met Rio Ferdinand at an airport and he said he liked my hair, i was about 9 and i nearly shit my pants and i was that excited about this. I went on the tell all my friends and everyone i've ever met
  7. I get distracted very easily, i could be doing one thing and within a matter of seconds my brain has switched onto another. I started this about 60 minutes ago and whilst doing this i have also changed my bed, had some food, ordered some clothes online and played an eventful round of candy crush. Proof is in the pudding.
  8. I don't like spoons. I don't like touching them, eating with them or even being around them. It started when i was like 7 and i'm not 100% sure what brought it on but it's been a some what phobia of mine ever since. The usual question are 'how do you eat soup?' in a cup. 'how do you eat ice-cream?' on a cone. 'How do you stir your drinks' I bought a stirrer a while back. There you go for all you pondering persons out there.
  9. My favourite drink is diet coke.
  10. I have over 20 pairs of converse.
  11.  I'm so impatient it bothers me. I can't wait for people to get ready or be a my house and if they are late, im in a strop until they say sorry for making me wait.
  12. Speaking of strops if i haven't had enough sleep or i'm just tired after work or something i am the moodiest person you will ever come across! If you think i'm joking i'm honestly not. I was once dating someone and i was so tired i made them sleep on the floor because they took up to much bed space, which they actually didn't. Safe to say i made him a full fry up in the morning to apologize
  13. I hate people that use the word 'ignorance' wrong! 'oh he was ignoring me, he is so ignorant' no. That is incorrect. Ignorant is a lack of knowledge of something, not ignoring someone. Jeez
  14. My favourite food is my dad's own taco's
  15. I loved school and college and i love uni. NERDY
  16. Football is something i couldn't live with out and it's the only channel on in my house ever.
  17. I have never had chinese food
  18. I have known my best friend since we where babies and we have fallen out pretty much once a week since then, and it last around 1 hour and then we laugh about it and forget it happened and it is usually about stupid things like once we argued about what to put into a cake, instead of actually googling or looking up a recipe we just fought it out.
  19. I'm possibly the easy person to persuade to do anything in the world! I could literally be at home in my PJ's and my friend will be like 'few drinks' ill say no and then half an hour later i'm wacking on the lippy and a LBD.
  20. My life is pretty perfect to be honest and i wouldn't change anything about it.
Thanks for ready monkeypups

4-4-2

Yes the title of this blog post does therefore mean the blog that followers is about football! So for all you hooligans out there sit back, get a brew and read away but if you're not a football fan then maybe this blog isn't for you! Sorry!

Ok i have had a season ticket for arguably the best football team in the world for the past 15 years and i have been there through up's and down's! A league down to be specific but 2 play-off finals, which we do lose yes but we got there! Preston North End born and bred.
This post isn't about them however, well in small part it is but it's about footballers now a days compared to football players 10 years ago or further. I can only comment on how far back i remember football but i'm sure this applies even more from when before i was born.
Footballers are vaginas today, they feel a tug of the shirt or a slight kick of the shin then fall to the ground and roll around like a bullet just penetrated their skin, like really, man the fuck up! What happened to a time when the only reason a player would hit the deck is when a bone was broken, real football! All 90% of footballers seem to care about today is swanky cars and comb over hair styles! They sit in VIP in nightclubs and just, excuse the use of this word, 'holla' at girls to come and sit with them, like it some sort of special privilege all girls are dying to get. PLEASE! This current generation of footballers make me pretty angry, they care more about making headlines for 'taboo' reason than actually training and doing what they are paid for! Don't get me wrong, some footballers don't fit into this category but some footballers need to be told to grow a fucking pair.

K bye.

New Purchases.

Hello monkey pups!

Today i went shopping, for the first time since i left for America because whilst in America the places were SO large that 10% i was actually shopping and the other 90% i was wandering around looking for one specific item. It took me 25 minutes to find the toothpaste aisle and then there was so many choices i spent the next 15 minutes just staring blankly at all the available options. Needless to say it was even worse when i got to the shampoo and conditioner.
The first place i took a trip into today was Superdrug where I spent around £32.00 and for what i actually got i personally think it was a bargain! A lot of these products I haven't actually used before so i can't really comment on how good they are yet but watch this space (never said that before, can I pull it off? I think so)

1) Wake Me Up Concealer by Rimmel for £5.49 (half price as it was buy 1 get 1 1/2 off on everything)

I've heard a lot of positive things about this concealer of a lot of people online and a few of my friends so i decided it was time to jump aboard the bandwagon and try this product out for myself.

2) Maybelline New York Fit Me Foundation for £7.99

I've never been recommended this by anyone and i didn't actually read any reviews prior to buying this however it's been on my radar for sometime and i'm not quite sure why! I think it might be that the package it comes in just looks very professional and simple and when i tried out the colour on my skin it did match it very well so i bit the bullet and just shoved it in my basket before i could actually give myself time to evaluate the pro's and con's.

3) Bourjous Paris Colour Boost for £7.99

Lip sticks, Lip pens and lip crayons, basically anything that i can put on my lips that adds colour is a plus for me! I recently bought a Clinique Chubby Stick which i love love love and someone, i can't remember who, attempted to try and persuade me that this does almost the exact same thing and although i'm not really having it because the Chubby Stick is like heaven for my lips, i'm willing to try it out! Mainly to prove myself right but i could also be eating my words after i try this out for the first time! Is it too soon to put "watch this space" again ?

4) Bourjous Paris Delice de Soleil Bronzing Powder for £8.99

This is something i really really really wanted to try, i had previously had a bronzer from this company, i think everyone previously had a bronzer for this company "Delice de Poudre" or "the chocolate one" as some people may know it. This bronzer smells exactly the same except it comes in an amazing package, the mirror was a big part of this purchase and the packaging is great and so handy! You can shove this in your bag and it's perfect for on the go make-up.

and finally........

5) LOOK Beauty Cheeky Trio for £6.00

I think this make is new to Superdrug so i spent a lot of time browsing and looking at the different products and this is the one that really caught my eye and i thought it would be a "cheeky" ( get it cheeky, cheeky trio, LOL) purchase. It is a sculpture, blusher and highlighting kit and it just looks like it would be a good product.

ok so superdrug, check! Next up i went to body shop to look for a specific item. I have been craving a good toner for a while and i've tried a few different ones from boots own to lush brands but for some reason i have found they have all been a problem with my skin. I have very sensitive skin which is a huge pain in my ass when in need of certain products because it means you have to keep searching till you find the perfect one! SO anyhow.. i decided body shop could be a good place to check with the whole, natural ingredients and animal care thing! and i stumbled across this.....

6) Aloe Calming Toner from Body Shop for £8.

The aloe vera in this calms your skin and doesn't cause irritation (hopefully) and it specifically states on the bottle that it is made for sensitive skin so if this doesn't work i think i'm at an end and i should just have to deal with my life without the use of toner on a daily basis, as hard as that may be! *sob*

Then onto Boots, which i only bought two items in! A record for me? I think so! and the products i bought are practically essentials to any normal girls make up bag so really i didn't actually do any damage whatsoever in Boots! Well.....sort of.

7) Soap and Glory Glow All Out for £11

This is a "luminizing radiance face powder" and until now i have always used either a bronzer or blusher with a built in highlighter or the benefit highlighter which is more of a pastey liquidy thingy (possibly not the correct term for it) which i do love but i ran out of it recently and decided it was time for a change so i searched high and low and came across this. This is one of the first Soap and Glory make-up products i've ever bought so it should be interesting to see what it's like. The packaging of this is amazeballs and it does like the quote real deal unquote so ill let you know how it goes.

8) Benefit Erase Paste for £19.50

I have had this before and i'll have it 1000x again so i love this product with my whole entire face and i know my under eye dark circles really appreciate this product so i couldn't deprive them from this glorious product.

THAT IS IT!
All done.

I'm going to try out these products and give reviews on some of the ones i love and the ones i didn't think exactly fit the bill. I'm super duper excited to try all these products that i'm most likely going to have a little make-up fashion show tonight for myself which isn't remotely uncool at all ok! Don't judge me! ta.
